Here's the USS Ranger. I decided to put the aircraft in the hangers instead of on deck. I'm of the opinion that it might look better. I think it adds a little more detail to the hull.
This blog is intended to be a place to post my 2D paper ship models for wargaming. I've started out with US battleships of WW2 and intend to make models of all the ships from all nations in that era.

Jon, shouldn't the port views have the bow pointing to the left of the page?
The port view by it's self should, but for the based ship it is correct.
I just tried to keep it easy, so id someone wants to base it they only have to do one flip instead of rotating it.
Hey would it be too much to ask if I asked you to make a Montana class? What if I begged?
Sorry, but I'm focusing my efforts on ships that actually served in
WW2. There are a lot of ships to cover. It's possible that I could do some of the proposed designs that were never completed, i.e. Montana, or Graf Zeppelin, in the future, but they'll have to wait until after other ships are completed.
OK...
